A group of women held a silent protest at Tynwald Day yesterday, calling for the Island's abortion laws to be liberalised.
The women, dressed in red outfits from the TV series The Handmaid's Tale, handed out notes to people at the festivities in St John's.
They say they were inspired by the TV show which depicts a future where women have become little more than slaves to the government.
One protestor, who didn't want to be named, broke her silence to explain what she wanted to achieve:
