A public consultation on banning disposable vapes is expected in the Spring.
That's according to Clare Barber, Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture, following a question by MHK Sarah Maltby.
She asked whether the vaping products would be added to the list of banned single-use plastics.
Mrs Barber says the department is aware of the environmental impact of disposable vapes, and subject to approval a consultation will be launched on draft regulations.
