A £1.6 million refurbishment of a Douglas Council car park gets underway today.
Shaws Brow car park will have 45 weeks of building work, to be finished by January 2026.
Douglas councillor Devon Watson says the car park is used extensively by workers and shoppers and he expects some short-term disruption.
Work starts on the 692-space site on Barrack Street from today.
