Shoprite will be holding a fundraiser next week in aid of a local mental health project.
From next Monday (October 5) the chain will run two competitions to raise money for local organisation Isle Listen.
There will be the 'guess how much the shopping cost in 1984' where the winner will take home a £25 Robinsons voucher, IOM Creamery cheese hamper, Isle Listen cake by Ramsey Bakery and a selection of Bushy's Beers - nine sets of the prize will be up for grabs across nine of the Islands stores.
Meanwhile, in all the Shoprite outlets except for Winerite, there will be a children's competition to find the six 'Loud Shirts' around the shop with a hamper of goodies to be won - those taking part will need to pick up an entry form and write down the messages from all the 'loud shirts'.
Anyone wanting to take part is being asked if they can donate at least £1 for the 'guess the cost' game and 50p for the 'loud shirts' competition - the winners will then be drawn out next Friday (October 9).
