Police are investigating after a sheep was killed on the Tholt-Y-Will Road earlier this week.
According to police the animal was struck by an unknown vehicle at around 10pm on Tuesday (May 11) and has since died.
Officers say the vehicle involved has left the scene without reporting the incident - anyone who knows what happened is being asked to contact PC Whiting at Ramsey Police Station on 812 234.
The constabulary has also issued a reminder the highway is one of many unfenced roads on Island with livestock everywhere this time of year and to take care when driving in these areas.
