Sewage treatment works for Laxey and Baldrine will be 'away from the residential populous' and 'avoid need for additional traffic.'
That's according to Manx Utilities, who has issued an update on the latest phase of the Sewage Treatment Strategy.
The company is in the process of finalising a location for the Laxey and Baldrine site, however it can't be revealed until the purchase of land is complete.
The update added that odour control equipment will mean that smells aren't an issue, and the design will ensure 'minimal visual impact.'
