An amber weather warning has now been issued for heavy rain across the Island.
The notice is in force until 4pm this afternoon, as severe showers and flooding cause havoc across the Island today.
The conditions have seen Laxey village closed off, the Mountain Road shut due to a landslide, Laxey and Dhoon Schools closed until at least 12pm and scores of road closures across Island highways.
Ronaldsway Met Office says further flooding and disruption is possible in certain areas, but that conditions are set to improve this afternoon.
