There are two weather warnings in place today for the Isle of Man.
A yellow warning for wind and an amber for "significant coastal overtopping".
Both, due to severe gale force winds, are expected to be in place between 09:00 and 15:00 today (Tuesday).
As a result the promenades in Douglas, Ramsey and Laxey will all close for four hours from midday.
Parking on the Douglas Prom Walkway has been suspended since last night.
The Steam Packet Company said ferry sailings are "subject to disruption/cancellation" with passengers advised to check the company's website and social media for updates.
