The Island’s youth cafe is aiming to get first time voters set for this year’s election.
Vote Right sessions are being held this Saturday and again in August at Cafe Laare in Lord Street, which is used by hundreds of young people every week.
On the Isle of Man people are able to vote from the age of 16 years old.
Leanne Newbold, Youth and community worker at the Douglas facility says the informal sessions are intended to give young voters the information they need to make a choice. (audio above)
The session is this Saturday from 1:30PM.
