The fire service, police and the Manx Utilities Authority were called out to a fire involving overhead cables in Foxdale yesterday.
Upon their arrival, the two Peel fire crews discovered the incident involved two electricity poles used to support overhead power cables.
Crews worked to ensure that all power in the area was isolated before extinguishing the fire with a high-pressure hose reel.
The MUA has now fixed the problem.
