Serious leg injuries after Mountain Road collision

A two vehicle crash on the Mountain Road last night has left a person with serious leg injuries.

At approximately 5.30pm two cars collided on the Mountain Mile - four people were involved.

The one injured person has been flown away to the UK for treatment.

The road was closed for a number of hours while police conducted investigations and the Department of Infrastructure repaired the road surface.
