The government says inflation fell sharply last month.
In September, the Consumer Price Index stood at 2.9 per cent - down on August's 3.3 per cent figure.
The Cabinet Office says restaurants and hotels have seen the biggest inflationary increase - up eight per cent on last year.
And there's bad news for lovers of beef, which has seen a 12.7 per cent increase over the last 12 months.
