Would you like to send a postcard to someone who may be feeling lonely during the pandemic?
The Island's college is giving you the opportunity.
It's launched the initiative - #postcardsofkindness, to encourage people to write to the elderly who may feel isolated during the lockdown.
UCM says with so many care homes in lockdown, it wanted to give this appeal a boost, so those no longer receiving visits don't feel quite so alone.
It adds cards can be about the weather, music, pets... absolutely anything!
It says to do so - you search online, full addresses of homes are available, simply address the letter/card ‘Dear Resident’, and add #postcardsofkindness in the bottom corner.
