From next week, households with a second black refuse bin will not longer have them emptied.
That's according to a post on social media by Douglas Borough Council.
The Council says from November 7 - properties with a second 'black bin' - other than those assessed by its staff - will no longer have them emptied as standard.
It adds those who think they don't have enough room should contact the Waste Services Team on 696445.
However, it adds due to 'high demand' its team is working its way through those who have already got in touch.
Further, additional recycle boxes, covers, nets and bags can be requested by phoning 696448 or emailing refuse@douglas.gov.im
