Seaside Fun Day postponed

Today's Seaside Fun day has had to be postponed until next weekend due to forecast poor weather.

The event in Port Erin is run by Beach Buddies and Breast Cancer Now - who say they've reluctantly had to make the decision.

The two charities will now run the event a week later than intended - on Saturday, September 6.

Both Beach Buddies and Breast Cancer now has thanked all the volunteers who offered to help.

A spokesman said, “We hope volunteers will be able to give us their support for this event when it's re-scheduled, and for other events we are planning for the future."
