The public is being given the chance to take a look at proposals this week for new sea defences in Laxey.
The plans are for the barracades to run along Laxey Promenade and harbour.
Engineers from the Department of Infrastructure will be on hand to discuss the ideas from 2pm till 6pm on Thursday.
The plans will be available from the at the Commissioners Office in New Road at that time.
