Schools have begun revealing their responses to planned industrial action by teachers from the end of this month.
Ballakermeen High School say years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 students should stay at home for two days during the strike action by NASUWT members on November 30 and December 1.
It says year 10 students should still attend the Island's college if they're due to have lessons there, and its specialist provision centre will still open.
Meanwhile, Ramsey Grammar School says years 12 and 13 should attend as usual on both days, but years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 should stay away for remote learning.
Those in year 11 with lessons at the college should catch the bus from the school as usual.
More information is being sent direct to parents.
