Braddan Commissioners have applied for planning permission for a therapy hut near the Roundhouse.
The local authority says it wants a mobile Nordic-style hut near the building and outside play area.
In its planning application, it says it also wants a storage shed at the northern end of the building's car park.
The board says the therapy hut was a suggestion from Manx Care, which wants to use it for non-clinical therapies.
