Police say scammers impersonating banks over the phone have cost Manx residents £135,000 recently.
Officers took to Facebook to warn of a rise in the number of such calls being made, and urging people to remain vigilant.
They say the callers claim there's an urgent problem, and ask for your details to help resolve it.
But police say you should hang up and contact your bank yourself to check.
