Saturday’s Heysham sailings have all been cancelled as the severe sailing weather persists.
Both the 8am crossing to Birkenhead, which was scheduled to dock at Heysham, and the return journey this afternoon were called off just before 6.30 this morning.
As it stands, Sunday's Steam packet services are still due to go.
The 8am sailings will dock at Heysham with coaches on hand to transport passengers down to Liverpool, while the return 2pm journey will also leave Heysham with coaches leaving Liverpool’s Pier Head at 11.30am.
