Police have closed Brown Cow Hill in Santon due to flooding.
The closure is between Ballavayle and Oatlands Road.
Meanwhile, motorists are urged to drive with care and allow extra time for their journey this morning as the poor weather conditions continue.
Forecasters said a yellow warning for heavy rain is in place until 09:00.
Due to the flooding at Brown Cow Hill, Santon we have had to close the road and are working with the Department of Infrastucture at this time regarding diversions.
