Local girl Sam Barks is set to return to the Isle of Man to film a new festive feature.
Sam’s stock has never been higher off the back of Les Miserables, with numerous reviews singling her out for praise.
The pair will start filming 'A Christmas Candle' here in the next few weeks.
The revelation was made by Treasury Minister Eddie Teare during his budget speech, when making reference to the positive outcomes of the Pinewood film studios investment.
Minister Teare also announced that Susan Boyle would be involved in the project, a claim that has been refuted heavily by her management.
