Sailings to go ahead

Tonight's sailings will go ahead as scheduled.

The 7.45pm Ben-My-Chree crossing to Heysham and it's return at 2.15am aren't cancelled despite poor weather conditions.

It comes as Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for coastal overtopping, and a yellow warning ffor heavy rain.

Forecasters have predicted exposed areas could face 'significant debris' and the Island could be hit with up to 30mm of rain - potentially leading to localised flooding and difficult driving conditions due to standing water.
