Sailings to and from the Island today have been cancelled.
The Steam Packet Company has confirmed the 8.45am journey to Heysham and its 2.15pm return won't go ahead due to the poor weather.
Meanwhile, voyages to and from the Lancashire port on Sunday could also be facing disruption.
A final decision on those is expected by 2pm this afternoon.
