Some sailings are going ahead today, but earlier than originally planned.
The Steam Packet says its 8.45am journey from Douglas to Heysham will now leave at 7.30am.
Meanwhile, its 2.15pm return will depart at the earlier time of 1pm.
This afternoon's 3pm sailing and its evening return are still in doubt.
