Safety concerns raised about scouts working on TT Scoreboard

Safety concerns have been raised about scouts working on the TT Scoreboard.

The youngsters help update the timing board during races during the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.

ACU Events Ltd carried out a health and safety risk assessment during this year's festival.

It was after concerns were raised about the position of the scouts at the front of the board on Glencrutchery Road.

A working party has now been set up to mitigate any risks which could include the addition of a safety fence.
