Police are appealing for information after reports a runner was bitten by a dog this morning.
According to officers the incident happened in Archallagan plantation around 11.30am.
The dog - which has been described as a Collie type was not with its owner at the time.
After the alleged incident the dog ran away - leaving the runner injured.
