The government says it's following the UK - and taking old pound coins out of circulation.
Earlier this year, the Treasury announced the Isle of Man would keep the old round coins after the UK did away with them.
However, banks say the old quids are disappearing fast and so a date's now been set to take them out of circulation forever.
From February 28, only the new-style 12-sided coins (as well as Manx round coins) will be accepted.
