A generous donation from an Island rotary club is set to go towards a caring canine companion to help those with visual impairment.
A total of £3,600 has been raised by the Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann for the Isle of Man branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The money will go towards getting a guide dog that can provide vital support for someone with full or partial loss of sight.
President of the Rotary Club, Paul Winnell, has hailed what he calls a 'wonderful charity' and that money towards this cause can make 'a positive difference to someones life'.
