A new-look landlord register will make housing issues - like evicting tenants - easier to deal with, according to the Department of Social Care.
The results of a public consultation which looked at introducing a Landlord and Tenant Bill have been released with many showing support for it.
The register would ensure that private sector landlords, and their properties, must adhere to required rental accommodation standards.
