A street in Port St Mary is shut today as work takes place to prepare for roadworks.
High Street is shut until 6pm to allow the Department of Infrastructure to carry out a ground-penetrating radar survey.
Traffic is being diverted via Athol Place and Park Road, and parking has been suspended in Queens Place.
If bad weather stops work today, the department says it hopes to do the work on Wednesday or Thursday instead.
