Road safety video dubbed a 'success' as views hit 600,000

Police have deemed the release of a road safety video which shows a fatal crash on the Mountain Road a 'success'.

The footage - which was released six weeks ago - has clocked up almost 600,000 views on YouTube as well as attracting widespread media coverage across the UK.
 
It tells the story of 22-year-old Lewis Clark who was killed near the Black Hut on August 30th 2015 - his mother Beverley says she wanted to do something to warn other road users to be more careful:
 
 
The video shows the moment Lewis and a German biker travelling in the opposite direction collided - both bikes exploded into fireballs.
