A busy road in Peel will shut later this year as winter does battle with summer.
The Oie Voaldyn fire festival event takes place in Peel on May 4 - last year the event was called off after Peel commissioners objected to Fynoderee distillery and Bushy's brewery sponsoring the event.
The festival will see traditional music events during the daytime with the two seasons doing battle during the evening.
Weatherglass Corner will be closed between the two ends of Crown Street on East Quay and Shore Road from 10am until 11pm.
