Road Closed After 4 Vehicle Collision

We’ve had reports that there’s been a 4-vehicle collision in the area of Mount Murray.

It involved two heavy goods vehicles, a van and a car.

One injured person has been taken to hospital and according to an ambulance report he had been trapped in his lorry after the vehicles cab had been pushed back.

He was given painkillers at the scene before being transported to Nobles.

The scene is currently being investigated and cleared, and all services are said to be working hard to get the road reopened as soon as possible.

The road between the Spring Valley Roundabout and the Oatlands Road Junction through Santon is currently closed.

Motorists are advised to steer clear of the area until further notice.
