Tributes have been paid to a volunteer who served Port St Mary RNLI for more than 40 years.
John Payne and his wife Marion became involved with the village's station after moving to the Island in the 1980s.
He volunteered as membership secretary, and later branch treasurer.
John's funeral will take place at 11am on Tuesday, June 16 at Rushen Parish Church - his wife is asking for donations to be made in his memory to Port St Mary RNLI.
