The RNLI has issued a tide warning after two people were rescued from rocks near Port Lewaigue over the weekend.
It happened at around 16:40 BST on Saturday when one of the walkers was injured after falling on rocks.
The pair had been had been forced onto difficult ground due to the rising tide- one was treated for minor injuries.
A RNLI spokesman said if you' are planning to walk along the beach you should check the tide times to make sure you have enough time to reach your destination.
