A new plaque commemorating the founder of the royal National lifeboat Institution is on show in Douglas.
The life-sized bronze memorial to Sir William Hillary has been loaned to Douglas Council by the RNLI until a new lifeboat station is built in the capital.
The portrait features a laurel wreath, lifeboat and the Tower of Refuge.
It's now in the Marine Gardens on Douglas promenade near other RNLI memorials.
