The RNLI was called out to help a kayak in difficulty at the weekend.
Ramsey RNLI were paged at 3.15pm on Saturday regarding the safety of a kayak in the sea of the Dog Mills.
The volunteer lifeboat crew of the all-weather RNLB Ruby Clery quickly reached the kayak and established an adult and a child on board were safe and well.
Sea conditions at the time of the call were described as flat and calm.
The lifeboat was recovered, washed down and made ready for service.
