Works to improve a river wall in Braddan are set to start today.
The Department of Infrastructure will be working on the edge of the River Dhoo next to Carrs Lane and the Clucas Trading Estate.
The scheme involves replacing and raising the existing riverside wall, building new sections and improving roadside surface water drainage.
The DOI says the work is designed to provide flood protection, after significant flooding in 2015.
