The Isle of Man Constabulary says they've recently seen a rise in 'sextortion' cases over Instagram.
Victims are being scammed into sending explicit pictures and then have to pay a ransom otherwise the images will be shared.
The message from police is to make sure you know who you're really sending these kinds of images to.
Any cyber concerns can be reported to the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance.
