It's the 'right time' for the Island to take an endemic approach to Covid-19, according to the Director of Public Health.
Dr Henrietta Ewart says we now have a very high level of immunity due to the vaccination programme and the amount of the population who have been previously infected.
She adds that the new antiviral treatment plan for at risk groups gives us a very good level of protection across the Island.
Speaking to 3FM, Dr Ewart says we can now start living with the virus.
If you test positive for Covid-19, advice is to stay home until 48 hours after symptoms have disappeared.
