A rider has been admitted to hospital following a crash on the Mountain Road this afternoon.
The constabulary says one rider was airlifted to Noble's Hospital following the incident and accident investigation is currently being carried out on the highway.
The stretch of the A18 between Ramsey and the Creg-ny-Baa remains closed at this time.
Motorists are being advised to use an alternative route.
