A busy road is undergoing an improvement scheme from today.

Richmond Hill is down to one lane each way to allow a new layout to be put in place.

A highway improvement scheme is to be ongoing for most of the year.

There's a speed limit in place of 30 miles per hour.

Transport Minister David Anderson says it's essential work that will be ongoing for most of 2010. (audio above)
