There's more bad news for a group of Douglas ducks.
A local resident took to a Facebook community group this morning, saying someone has run over and killed one of the area's ducks.
It happened in Governor's Hill between 8.15am and 8.45am this morning, in a 20mph zone during school drop off times.
It's the latest incident involving the birds - in January, oil leaked into their the pond, meaning they had to be cleaned up and re-released.
