One of the Island's longest standing service dogs - Holly - is hanging up her search jacket.
The Island's Search and Rescue Dog Association says after nearly 10 years of service, it's time for Holly 'to enjoy a well earned retirement'.
It described handler Gary Wright and Holly’s service as invaluable to the Manx community, in keeping people safe and bringing loved ones back to their families.
In a post on social media, the association says Holly has been a truly exceptional dog, with countless call-outs during that time, her Usain Bolt speed and incredible efficiency will certainly be missed by the team!
It adds Holly’s achievements throughout her career are made even more remarkable given she was rescued by Gary when she was just a young pup - the rescued to the rescuer!
