Officers took to social media this morning to confirm the news.
However, they are warning heavy rain is resulting in poor driving conditions.
They add they've received reports of snow starting to fall on the Mountain Road - although the route remains open, people may experience congestion due to the tree currently blocking the Laxey Coast Road.
