It's reported nearly half of the Island's bus drivers are currently in self isolation.
7 drivers are thought to have Coronavirus and 42 are said to be isolating.
It comes following Unite the Union Isle of Man pleading to the public to protect bus drivers from Coronavirus in a social media post last week.
Debbie Halsall - the Regional Officer of Unite revealed some drivers had tested positive for the virus, some were self-isolating and others were instructed to do so.
The union urged the public to be 'proactive' when travelling - to wear face coverings correctly throughout journeys and social distance.
Following this - Isle of Man Transport made the decision buses on Island would only accept contactless payments - it claimed it was an 'increased safety measure' to protect passengers and staff.
However, following the news of further Coronavirus cases and more bus drivers having to self-isolate - a further statement has not yet been made.
3FM has contacted Isle of Man transport directly for comment.
