The government says the total size of its workforce grew by less than one per cent in the final quarter of last year.
In the latest report, covering September to December 2025, says the total number of full-time equivalent employees across all boards, departments and offices increased from 7,837 to 7,890.
The report says that's an overall increase of 0.7 per cent.
Manx Care accounted for more than 27 of the posts, which the report says reflects investment in healthcare.
