The government's urging people to help it crack down on illegal fishing.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is asking the public to report illegal activity - by keeping their eyes peeled for signs such as tyre marks on beaches, or lights near rivers at night.
Salmon and sea trout fishing is closed until April to let the fish spawn.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot MHK says officials can't be everywhere at once and tips from the public can help stamp out crime.
