A man from St Johns who's been accused of rape has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
45-year-old William Kelly appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday - he's accused of carrying out the offence between March 1st and 21st.
In addition he also faces charges of conduct amounting to harassment, between March 1st and April 2nd, and a charge of assault causing actual bodily harm from September last year.
The court was told police investigations are continuing - no pleas were entered but a committal date was set for May 31st.
An application for bail was refused and the case was adjourned until next Tuesday.
